Jeff’s prediction (Packers) has already not come true, but since we have no plans at current to have a Super Bowl post, I figured we might as well get something up on the site.
You may be wondering how Hacker Public Radio relates to a sports site. I was a bit caught off guard when I was asked to record a follow-up show to my Introduction to the Netizen Empowerment Federation that would focus on Sportazine. In a way though, it makes sense. Everything else NEF does fits into the usual suspects for geek-culture radio. Sure, Music Manumit cuts something different than Creative Commons or free culture, but it pretty clearly fits in that genre of show. Sportazine is a curiosity.
If you are here, Sportazine itself is probably not much of a curiosity, but you may not understand how Sportazine fits into the overall landscape of JMP Enterprise and NEF. That’s exactly where our follow-up to my Introduction to the Netizen Empowerment Federation comes in.
